Prost Ihr Lieben.
Super quaint restaurant when we are in Frankfurt we always go there. Highly recommended schnitzel (huge) and Hessian tapas.
Good food, delicious apple and nice service!
Was better earlier, whether it's up to me or during the day ... May be, but as I said ... Was better earlier
For a non-Frankfurter you can try the national dish, the green sauce, very well. The cider was good, even if it was my first. Pleasant atmosphere outside. However, there are beer banks in front of the restaurant. Nice waiters. I can only recommend.
Great food. The apple wine taste amazing and the service was nice, welcoming and fast. 100% recommends.
Super nice service and delicious schnitzel with fried potatoes and green sauce, there was Äappler 😋👍😁
Delicious food, nice service. The portions are a bit too big for me. Cozy
The food was delicious as always. However, we felt that the waitress had a not so great day. The mood in the restaurant was very depressed. And we were made to feel that we were undesirable (it was except and no other guest there). The restaurant itself is rustic and very inviting. All in all, you can eat well in the proletariat. The portions are large and well presented.
There were no customers, unfriendly staff.
Sympathetic environment to eat a good Schnitzel and a good beer.
Super good food, huge portions, attentive service, low prices.
A nice place with good food and drinks. Unfortunately, this time we had to wait 1 hour for our food but usually it doesn't happen and everything is served fast. Apfelwein is supplied by Possman but it is Naturtrüb so the quality and the taste are top! I can only recommend visiting this place
Not much space. Food was ok
Very nice atmosphere staff where a little rude.
Nice vintage place.. good beer.
The inn is truly tastefully furnished. No cheap decoration, but it was a lot of very nice colors matched to each other. The correctness of the staff is truly great. I was completely positively surprised. We will definitely come back. We were both there together and each one of us ordered something else - on my part I can say that I tried a tease of everything and it was really good.
Handkäs exemplary, Binding nature cloudy, Hmhhh, there's better
Huge portions, really good value for money and great service.
Great friendly English speaking staff with typical selection of Hamburg specialties and fresh apfelwein
Basic ambiance but good apfelwein and food.
Meh
Nice local food and a small but good variety of local drinks. Service is slow but very adequate and fit's to the local culture. No credit cards accepted is of course disadvantageous.
Very fine ... Was skeptical at first ... Wrong very very fine, cheap and friendly
nice staff, decent portions, humane prices
Unfortunately they have quite poor and unclear menu, waiters are unfriendly and little bit rude. Cards are not accepted,so prepare your cash. So, not the best place to spend your evening
The best place in Sachenhausen for eating and drinking apfelwein!!! 100% recommendable
The food tastes very good, the service was attentive. The portions are pretty big. Unfortunately not everything done by myself, but many things. The map goes a bit beyond the Frankfurt kitchen. The atmosphere also a bit unusual for a cider local.
A great place for gatherings company. Fast service. Delicious cuisine. It is better to book a table in advance.
Food and drink was relatively fast, food was delicious 👍 service was good! Nothing negative to call. Price / performance is right
Good.
Typical German restaurant a bit away from the hustle and bustle, which makes it a bit cheaper and quieter, without removing quality. Pleasent treatment.
We arrived very early, i.e. when they open, at five, and on a Monday, so we had the place pretty much to ourselves for a while, but the unobtrusive staff was very friendly and forthcoming. Food is served from six onwards and we had the mixed starters, followed by "Blut- & Leberwurst mit Püree & Kraut" and a Schnitzel Frankfurt style. The helpings are pretty large and the food quality is really good. Definitely worth a recommendation.
Very rustic restaurant with a very good green sauce. Schnitzel huge and delicious. It's a shame that it was so extremely warm inside all evening, a fan in the ceiling would have been great. Sitting outside wasn't because of the rain at first, but later we moved outside.
So so I would say. Could be more choice on dishes
I was in Proletariat last weekend with my friends. We wanted to try typical German food, i would say the food was really delicious and the portion was big. The service was really good, the waiters could speak English and they were very Friendly. We definitley would visit again.
Cozy, friendly service and the potato bratwurst with cabbage and fried potatoes are just the thing for a cold day. I think it could be a bit brighter but definitely recommended.
Best food I had on my whole trip. Huge portions, friendly service. They are cash only so make sure you hit an ATM first!
The service was nice, but overwhelmed that evening and forgot our drinks twice. And it was very warm and stuffy in the restaurant. I had the liver dumplings with cabbage and the starter plate. The green sauce on the starter plate was too bland for my taste. The herb curd and the snow flurries were good for that, a little bit of bread was served. My liver dumplings were fine. Too little seasoning, but the herb was delicious.
Very nice and tasty food. A must go for german food lovers.
Typically restaurant where you can get local food and local beer plus the white whine and the apfelwine. Very fast and supportive service. Small price and local customers under forty. Unfortunately they do not accept credit cards and European bankomat, unless you are German you have to pay in cash.
Really friendly service, cheap apfelwein and delicious food. We had the 'handkas mit Musik' to start then the 'KartoffelkloB gefullt nut leberwurst' (traditional potato dumpling stuffed with liver, on a bed of gravy and sauerkraut - absolutely delicious!!) and the schnitzel and fried potatoes with 'green sauce'. All enjoyable with HUGE servings, my boyfriend and I couldn't finish them. Not expensive either! Would recommend, especially to tourists as they have an English menu but it still feels local.
One of the best Frankfurter Schnitzels I've had! Despite the traditional rustic decor, this apfelwein restaurant is a little more young and modern than some of the others in Sachsenhausen. And always friendly service!
